Supporting Healthcare in Dryden and Beyond

The DRHSF began its journey on May 17, 2002, as the Dryden Area Health Services Foundation. On April 1, 2007, it officially amalgamated into its current form to better support the evolving healthcare needs of the community. The Foundation was established in response to the growing understanding that public healthcare funding alone often falls short of meeting the rising demands of our region.

As a charitable, not-for-profit corporation, the Foundation is governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of seven community members. These individuals bring local insight and leadership to guide the Foundation’s efforts in supporting the Dryden Regional Health Centre (DRHC) and its surrounding areas.

DRHSF plays a vital role in leading fundraising initiatives, managing donations, and directing funds toward the most pressing needs of our hospital. Through trusted platforms like “Canada Helps,” the Foundation staff actively encourages community giving and participation in charitable efforts.

In October 2020, DRHSF introduced an exciting new way to support healthcare through the launch of its online 50/50 Raffle. Initiatives like these continue to create new opportunities for individuals and businesses alike to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of our community.
